BLUE MOON

Blue Moon was formed by Mal Salisbury, Nick Hurt and Jack Brett as the house band for Shropshire Blues Club in 2018, but soon branched out into playing their own gigs. Now, six years and with some line-up changes later, the band have become a regular part of the local music scene.

Tim Reece-Holloway (guitar, vocals), Malcolm Wragg (drums, vocals), Mal Salisbury (bass, vocals), Murray Orpin (Alto sax) and Nick Hurt (keys, guitar, vocals) are still the hosts at Shropshire Blues and Roots Club while spreading their intoxicating blend of blues, boogie, soul and rock around The Marches whenever they can.
